Tania, Founder
Tania, 36, is a queer soul from Southeastern Connecticut with Venezuelan roots. Embracing a life of travel, self-discovery, and connection, she continues to spend months traveling and/or living abroad in various place and is eager to share these experiences with like-minded women.
Driven by vulnerability, trust, and authentic connection, Tania shares her journey as a content creator. With a deep focus on relational culture and intimacy, she fosters a supportive community of women through Wanderlust Sisters, creating spaces for them to explore, grow, and build lasting sisterhoods.

Angela, Co-Founder
Angela Angulo is a white-passing Latina from the small coastal city of New London in Southeastern Connecticut. Angela brings authenticity to everything she does. She challenges stereotypes proving that skin color does not define heritage and size does not limit adventure.
Though New London will always be home, Angela is fueled by a passion for travel and exploration. She embraces new perspectives and opportunities with curiosity and is in constant pursuit of enriching experiences that create lasting memories.
Angela is the owner of Socially AcceptID, a boutique social media marketing business. Most of her work is within the tourism industry. When she’s not showcasing the uniqueness of her city or state, she’s likely out discovering more of the world, blending her love for storytelling with her passion for adventure.

We’re Tania and Angela. What began as a work relationship quickly flourished into a new friendship. While work might have brought us together, we remained close because of our shared loved for travel, new life experiences and meaningful connection. Wanderlust Sisters is an extension of us both, a community where women can come together to travel, explore the world and build lasting, meaningful connections.

As our community grows, we envision building an app where women can plan group trips, find travel buddies, offer or request hosting, share local tips, and join events around the world. We also dream of expanding our group trips by training and supporting more hosts to lead unforgettable sisterhood experiences.

Why Wanderlust Sisters
Was Born
After years of exploring new places while solo traveling, Tania found herself wishing she had more close friends to share those moments with. More and more women’s travel groups have been popping up but none that focused on what she craved most: building lasting relationships beyond the selfies and trip memories. Wanderlust Sisters was her answer. A space where women don’t just travel together, they connect deeply, support one another and create friendships that feel like a piece of home.
Angela also knows the thrill of exploring new places and the way travel can make you crave connection after a few days on your own. A natural social butterfly, she loved meeting fellow travelers through hostels, travel apps and through her adventures. She often found it easier and more comfortable to connect with other women traveling solo. Over time, she realized just how much more fulfilling travel becomes when shared with women who understand both the excitement and the uncertainties of solo adventures.
